Kallidus, an industry leading provider of digital learning and talent management solutions, has been rated as a Strong Performer in Fosway’s 9-Grid™ model for Learning Systems for its award-winning Kallidus Learn platform.

The 2021 Fosway 9-Grid™ Learning Systems report recognises how the COVID-19 pandemic has driven a huge increase in platform utilisation and market growth. Its multi-dimensional model rates learning systems based on their Performance, Potential, Market Presence, Total Cost of Ownership and Future Trajectories across the market.

Rob Caul, CEO of Kallidus said: “We started 2021 in a very strong position with our acquisition of Sapling’s leading people operations platform. It’s great to receive recognition from Fosway for our customer and user experience and for the value we deliver to our customers as we work in partnership with them to solve business challenges and build better companies.”

The acquisition of Sapling has turned Kallidus into a full-suite Human Capital Management (HCM) software and digital learning provider, offering businesses solutions across the entire employee lifecycle. Sapling automates people workflows - from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between – by connecting people data across existing HR systems. The acquisition will help Kallidus enter the North American market and to meet growing demands for full HCM solutions due to greater adoption of distributed and remote working practices, fiercer competition for talent, and increasing compliance requirements.

Philip Pyle, Chief Revenue Officer at Kallidus added: “Skills will top the business agenda in 2021 and having the right systems in place to bring new talent on board and to upskill and reskill the workforce will be critical for mounting an effective response to the economic challenges and change in business and working practices brought about by the pandemic. Kallidus is ideally placed to support organisations in managing the whole talent journey through our comprehensive suite of solutions and the award-winning learning experiences we create.”

Sapling is the second strategic acquisition made by Kallidus since Apse Capital partnered with the company in March 2019 in order to support its ambition of becoming a leading HCM software and digital learning provider. In March 2020, Kallidus bolstered its digital learning offering with the acquisition of Engage in Learning, a provider of high-quality, easy to use, engaging and editable eLearning. Following the acquisition of Sapling, Kallidus’ team is 200-strong, across offices in the UK, US and Canada.

Kallidus features in Fosway’s 9-Grid™ reports for Learning Systems, Digital Learning, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, showing the breadth of solutions it offers to help organisations nurture and develop their talent.  The reports can be downloaded from http://www.fosway.com/9-grid
