Power-up your e-learning with gamification at LT 2016
The role gamification can play in powering-up e-learning will be explored at Learning Technologies 2016, by multi-award winning learning and talent management provider, Kallidus.
Kallidus Senior Instructional Designer, Joshua Roberts, who won Silver for ‘E-learning designer of the year’ at the recent E-Learning Awards, will be hosting a seminar on the rise of gamification and its role in inspiring and engaging learners at Europe’s largest L&D event, 3 - 4 February at Olympia, London.
Joshua’s seminar ‘Power-up your e-learning: the rise of gamification and how to increase user adoption and employee engagement’ takes place on Thursday 4 February at 11.00 - 11.30 in Theatre 8.
Kallidus will be giving away a new handy ‘Pocket Guide to Gamification’ at stands N5 and N2. The guide explores the art and science of gamification and is packed full of practical tips to encourage learning professionals to think more like game designers so that they can excite and surprise their learners.
Said Rob Caul, CEO of Kallidus: “It’s not surprising gamification has become one of the learning industry’s hottest topics given it can make learning fun, boost completion rates, change behaviour and increase motivation and engagement. While the science may seem daunting, we’ll be showing just how easy and effective it is to apply game mechanics and game design techniques to e-learning content.”
Kallidus will also be showcasing its immersive e-learning content and its market leading integrated suite of learning and talent solutions at the exhibition. Kallidus is hosting two customer case study seminars:
- NHS Business Services Authority: An award-winning approach to meet key business needs presented by Samantha Peterson, NHS Business Services Authority and Michael White, Kallidus, Wednesday 3 February 2016, 11.45 - 12.15, Theatre 11.
- Transport for London: Discover the award-winning blended learning programme that is supporting the biggest business transformation in Europe presented by Ian Tatton, Transport for London and Toby White, Kallidus, Wednesday 3 February 2016, 13:15 - 13:45, Theatre 7.
