Winning partnership scoops top awards at this year's TJ Awards and Personnel Today Awards

Transport for London, Kallidus, Interact and T-Three  have scooped top awards at this year’s TJ Awards and Personnel Today Awards. Thanks to a collaborative partnership approach and the innovative use of blended learning and the use of technology to drive learning, business transformation and behavioural change, Transport for London (TfL) won the Silver Award for ‘Best Use of Technology in Learning’; Gold for ‘Best Change Management Programme’; and Gold for ‘Best Customer Services Programme’ at last night’s TJ Awards gala ceremony.

Just last week, Kallidus and TfL won the Bronze award at The Learning Technologies Awards for ‘Best Learning Game’ and the week before scooped the prestigious ‘Excellence in HR through Technology’ Award from Personnel Today.

Rob Caul, CEO of Kallidus said: “We’ve had an amazing journey with TfL and I’m extremely proud to see the creativity and hard work that has made TfL’s innovative digital transformation programme such a success endorsed by every leading award in our industry, including Training Journal, Personnel Today and Learning Technologies.”

TfL’s multi-award winning digital learning programme includes bite-sized immersive gamified e-learning content and a 15 minute 3D monopoly-style game. It is the first time a learning game has been used to drive behavioural change and customer service success in a major European business transformation programme.

Alexandra Bode-Tunji who has led the Skills and Capabilities London Underground Programme commented: “I’m absolutely delighted that we have won so many highly esteemed HR and learning awards for our blended learning and digital learning programme this year. Walking away with a silver and two gold awards at the TJ Awards was the icing on the cake and reflects the dedication and commitment of everybody in our business and our L&D team as well as the strength of our collaborative partnership with Kallidus and Interact.”

Winners of the TJ Awards were announced on 6 December 2016 in the city of London.  The evening was attended by over 500 people and saw 46 winners in 15 categories received their trophies and certificates. This year’s Personnel Today Award winners were announced at a gala ceremony at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London, on 22 November 2016, attended by over 900 HR professionals. The judges praised TfL for a “real feeling of ‘partnership’ between client and customer and the timely and efficient use of technology to transform operations and adoption by employees.”
