February 15, 2018 — InSync Training, LLC, the leading provider of blended learning and virtual training design and delivery, is proud to announce that Treion Muller, Chief Product Officer for TwentyEighty and instructional design expert, will be presenting, 7 Consumer Realities That Impact Learning and Development, as part of the Virtually There series, on February 20, 2018, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm EST.

This complimentary virtual session is intended for Learning and Development professionals of all experience levels who are interested in learning about how to meet the challenges of developing programs for today’s modern learner.

Why is it that the L&D industry in general still treats our technologically savvy learners, who are also active modern consumers of information, like they lived twenty years ago?

If we search for answers to our questions immediately in our personal lives, why are we forced to seek for professional work answers by signing up for a two-day training a month from now? If we have a work-related problem we need to solve now, why do we have to sit through an hour-long webinar or self-paced course to try find something that will address our unique issue?

In this session, we’ll discuss these questions and more, including what we can do differently to provide learning experiences that our learners want and that actually change behavior.

This session will cover such topics as relevant technological and industry trends and research, understanding seven consumer realities and how they relate to L&D, and ways to apply what we've learned to our unique L&D challenges.

As TwentyEighty’s Chief Product Officer, Treion assists five of the companies training business units – Miller Heiman Group, Vital Smarts, Achieve Forum, Strategy Execution, and Omega Performance – with their unique product management needs and strategies. Before joining TwentyEighty, Treion worked at FranklinCovey for over eleven years where he served as FranklinCovey’s Chief eLearning Architect and Director of Digital Development. During his time at FranklinCovey he helped develop and launch several successful products, ranging from traditional ILT to FranklinCovey’s LiveClicks webinars, bite-size self-paced courses, and reinforcement apps. Treion has a Masters degree in Instructional Design from Utah State University with an emphasis in Blended Learning. He is the co-author of, “The Learning Explosion: 9 Rules to Ignite Your Virtual Classrooms” and “The Webinar Manifesto,” and the author of several industry white papers and eBooks.

Attendees will explore key modern learning topics in the complimentary Virtually There series.  Each session focuses on emerging L&D trends, fundamental skills, and practitioner pro-tips to help design, facilitate, and manage training programs.

Registration is available via the 7 Consumer Realities That Impact Learning and Development event webpage.
