InSync Training wins Bronze Award in the Learning and Development category for Best Use of Blended Learning in the 2017 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards for their blended learning program, Managing at Mercer, developed with Mercer.

December 7, 2017 -- InSync Training, LLC, the leading provider of blended learning and virtual training design and delivery, won a coveted Brandon Hall Group Bronze award for excellence in the Learning and Development category.  InSync won the Bronze award for Best Use of Blended Learning for their program, Managing at Mercer, developed and created with Mercer for their leadership blended learning program.

The Managing at Mercer program is a collaboration between Mercer and InSync teams to provide a 30 week leadership series for people managers at Mercer.  The series is broken into 10 week modules that address components of the People Management Charter categories - Through the Work We Do, How We Develop Our People, and What We Reward.  Participants are new or seasoned managers at Mercer who wish to explore content focus areas such as Delegating, Difficult Interactions, Giving Feedback, Retaining Employees, Career Development, Change Management, etc.  The program is offered to Mercer colleagues all over the world, with new offerings this year to Europe, Asia, India and Australia.

"We developed this program with Mercer to provide an alternative to face-to-face leadership training," said Jennifer Hofmann, founder and President, InSync Training. "The blend consisted of videos, articles, discussion board postings, and live interaction with their colleagues and the facilitator as well as the applied work they do with their teams.  We are delighted to win this award and equally delighted that this innovative program was a huge success for Mercer."

“Excellence Award winners symbolize the power and impact that Human Capital Management practices can have on a business or on any organization,” said Rachel Cooke, Chief Operating Officer of Brandon Hall Group and head of the awards program. “Many organizations can have great HCM initiatives, but the standard of excellence only applies for organizations whose HCM practices truly benefit the business. That’s what the Excellence Awards program stands for, and that is what Brandon Hall Group stands for.”

The award entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts and executives based upon the following criteria: fit the need, design of the program, functionality, innovation, and overall measureable benefits. Excellence Award winners will be honored at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference January 31 – February 2, 2018, at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Selected winners also will serve as presenters in the more than 20 breakout sessions during the 3½-day event.
