Infor Learning Application Expands Human Capital Management Relationship, Facilitates Productivity and Professional Growth.

Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced that Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society, a Nebraska-based life insurance provider, has successfully implemented Infor Certpoint Learning Management to accompany its existing Infor Human Capital Management (HCM) solution. Woodmen of the World selected the application to provide a flexible, user friendly learning platform that could be easily modified to accommodate future growth. Infor Certpoint Learning Management delivers a unified portal for easy training course access, competency measurement and more efficient knowledge transfer throughout the organization.

“Integrating Infor Certpoint Learning Management with our existing Infor HCM application has allowed us to manage all of our human capital processes within one solution,” said James Pearson, director, Field Education, Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society. “Now we have the resources to better educate our associates with consolidated access to training programs and new policy information, which we believe will have a long-term impact on associate retention and productivity.”

Previously, Woodmen of the World could not conduct pre-contract work with field sales associates due to potential information security issues. Infor Certpoint Learning Management now provides the ability to establish multiple portals for different audiences, displaying only necessary courses and product information based on the user’s role and level of access. Managers can also create personal development plans for associates, pushing courses to individual users as they progress throughout their career.

“Companies without effective learning platforms are not doing all they can to drive front office priorities. An effective learning strategy allows companies to educate employee and non-employee stakeholders on proprietary brand knowledge, ensuring the organization’s products are best served. Educating and certifying those who interact with customers is a quick path to optimizing revenue,” said Tarik Taman, general manager, HCM, Infor. “Infor Certpoint Learning Management is designed to help companies like Woodmen of the World standardize learning processes and improve user competency, equipping employees with the skills they need to help drive business objectives.”
