Two new learning and development programmes to boost SME performance

With the SME sector widely accepted as being the power house to economic success, Henley Business School has introduced two new programmes.

With the SME sector widely accepted as being the power house to economic success, Henley Business School has introduced two new programmes that will be of particular interest to SMEs as they are both high-performance SME programmes. 

1. e-Leadership Skills: New Technology and Business Architecture.

SME growth is frequently hampered by an inability to take advantage of the latest IT and digital strategies. This new programme helps SMEs develop effective e-leadership skills for growth and competitive advantage. 

2. Investment Readiness.

Despite government pledges, bank lending in support of high performance SMEs remains very challenging. This new programme prepares SMEs for successful investment, with relevant knowledge of various funding routes and realistic funding strategies. 

Both are practical four day programmes incorporating research, case studies and the experience of renowned practitioners. Participants can claim a £2,000 grant from the government backed Business Growth service if they are Growth Accelerator members.

Reflecting the importance that Henley Business School attributes to the SME sector, Helen Gammons, Programme Director, will discuss High Performance SMEs in a special session on 28 January at 11.15am, at the Learning and Skills Exhibition/Conference, Olympia Central, London.
