Growth Engineering has seen two of its clients win sought-after accolades at the 2016 Training Journal Awards.

Following the announcement of the Training Journal Awards, Growth Engineering, who recently won the Nectar Business Small Business Award for Best Use of Technology, have seen two of their clients win sought-after accolades. The award ceremony, held at the Old Whitbread Brewery in London on 6th December was attended by training professionals from several industries.

Among those claiming prizes were GAME Digital Plc. and House of Fraser.

Thanks to the results of the GAME Learning Zone, GAME Digital Plc claimed the silver award for Best Sales Training Programme. As the largest high-street video games retailer, just-in-time product training and knowledge sharing are vitally important to the business.

GAME Learning Zone was built using Growth Engineering’s Academy LMS, a gamified social platform that drives engagement in online learning. The gamification tools have resonated with the staff of GAME and the social options have let them share their passion for the product, boosting intellectual capital within the business.

The success of the learning initiative was also made possible by the efforts of Craig Mills, Learning Manager at GAME Digital. He Has this to say about the award win:

"We are thrilled to have won the silver Training Journal award for Best Sales Training. We strive to make sure all our people at GAME are given a training experience that is as interactive and enjoyable as the products we sell and with the support of Growth Engineering our vision can be sculpted into reality."

House of Fraser, one of the biggest department stores in the UK, took home the bronze award for the Best Use of Technology in Learning. To get the most from their learning programme, they needed to leverage the best technology available and use it in the most effective way possible.

With the help of Growth Engineering, they built the House of Learning to deliver their learning objectives. Their training programme uses role-based learning paths, personal development, and just-in-time learning resources to ensure that their people have exactly what they need to fulfil their potential.

House of Fraser are also shortlisted to win the External Learning Solution of the Year at the Learning Awards in 2017.

Juliette Denny, Managing Director of Growth Engineering was delighted with their clients’ success:

“This is amazing news! We put a lot of work into developing engaging learning solutions that generate organisational growth by empowering employees at ground level. It’s just wonderful to have clients who share our vision and work just as hard to keep their people engaged with their training. The guys at GAME Digital and House of Fraser really deserve their awards, but they’ll always be winners in our eyes!”
