GP Strategies has unveiled its latest research report titled “Steering the AI Revolution: The Future of Human+AI Leadership.” This report highlights current trends in employees’ perceptions of AI and examines the role of leadership in AI implementation. The findings are based on data collected from over 500 individual contributors and leaders worldwide. The goal of this research was to assess leaders’ readiness to manage the disruption caused by AI. Rising AI Adoption: 88% of employees report embracing AI in their day-to-day work, citing productivity and innovation as major benefits.


The Confidence Gap: Less than half of employees believe their leadership is prepared to effectively steer AI initiatives, revealing an urgent need for upskilling and strategic communication.
 

Lack of Communication: A majority of employees and leaders want conversations about AI to happen more frequently. 
 

The report outlines essential strategies for leaders to thrive in a Human+AI-driven world, emphasizing the importance of clear and adaptable AI strategies, workforce upskilling, open communication, ethical AI practices, and fostering a culture of curiosity and innovation.
