Connect 2024: L&D, technology and gen-AI
Reflections on technology and gen-AI in Learning and Development at the Learning Network's annual conference.
Connect 2024 in London ran a debate on how technology is shaping L&D and who is in control. Afterwards, Learning News spoke to panelist Pete Ashcroft and other learning technology experts to capture the essence of the debate and the wider discussions across the day about technology and gen-AI in learning, including Toby Harris from Filtered, Richard Price from NHS England and Alan Hiddleston from Access.
Toby Harris pointed out: ‘L&D budgets are being replaced with AI project budgets; The new AI tools are fundamentally learning tools; Everyone in L&D needs to engage with AI initiatives.’
