Epic is delighted to announce that following its merger with LINE, it has formed LEO, a new learning technologies firm.

With over 50 years of experience and the combined expertise of the Epic and LINE teams, LEO has the breadth and depth of understanding to deliver creative, innovative solutions to revolutionise the corporate learning space.

As the industry’s pioneers of learning technologies, LEO’s aim is to help organisations use learning technology to deliver a transformational learning outcome aligned to their business goals. This will be achieved through the creation of tailored packages designed to meet the unique requirements of businesses and learners in a wide variety of sectors.

As well as LEO’s core service offering of strategy, content, platforms and learning approaches, it is also pleased to launch LEO Preloaded, the company’s specialist games with purpose division. This will allow LEO to create highly engaging educational games designed with learning in mind for an expanded, diversified service offering.

Furthermore, the dedicated LEO Defence & Security team will focus solely on transforming learning in the defence sector. This team is highly experienced in delivering custom learning solutions and blends to meet the unique requirements of clients in this specialist sector.

LEO will be working closely with the other companies in the Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG) portfolio as part of a full end-to-end experience for clients looking to make the best of new and existing learning technologies.

Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Satchell said: “This is an extremely exciting day for us. We are no longer Epic or LINE; we are LEO and we have the opportunity to become the world’s leading learning technologies firm. I am confident that our new company has the experience and expertise to help organisations across the world realise their competitive advantage through the careful alignment of learning with business needs.”
