Epic is pleased to announce a new partnership with Adobe Systems Europe Ltd. The partnership represents a coming together of two of the dominant players in European e-learning, with a shared vision for the future of technology-enabled learning and communications.

Through its ubiquitous Flash technology, and products such as Authorware, Connect and Acrobat, Adobe can claim to be the number one supplier of e-learning tools. Recent new product introductions (and the addition of new features for collaborative working to existing products) have moved the company further into the learning space. Now Adobe has chosen Epic, as the leading provider of services in the European e-learning market, to partner with in offering a complete package for clients. Epic will provide a range of strategic and capability building consulting services as well as blended design, content and platform production to complement Adobe’s world-leading technology solutions.

“Increasingly, our customers and prospects are creating eLearning content themselves rather than using outsourced agencies”, said Giles Cunningham, enterprise partner manager. “With this trend, there is a growing need to partner with a company that is capable of teaching our customers and partners the soft skills such as instructional design and graphical layout so that they can deliver engaging eLearning content. Epic allows us to deliver this to our customers, and ensure their eLearning solutions are a success within their businesses”

Steve Barden, Head of Consulting at Epic, said: ‘We are excited how this relationship will complement our respective capabilities to introduce existing and new clients to the benefits of rapid development, content management and delivery effectiveness. Our joint offer suits the mature and forward thinking enterprise where learning and knowledge are delivered into a personalised environment and needs to be achieved on an ever-quicker delivery timescale.’

The first results of the partnership will be Epic’s participation in a the Adobe Power of eLearning Solutions four city tour in June showcasing new Adobe products for corporate information delivery. Epic consultants will be on-hand at events in Dublin (7th), Edinburgh (14th), London (19th) and Manchester (21st) to support the events and to provide advice and practical guidance on rapid e-learning.
