CLO100 and TalentLMS to Host Exclusive ‘Breakfast Club’ as Learning Technologies Fringe Event
Senior Learning and Development leaders attending this year’s Learning Technologies conference are invited to kickstart the second day of the event with a high-level networking breakfast hosted by CLO100 in partnership with TalentLMS.
Held alongside the Learning Technologies conference, this fringe event is a dedicated space for senior leaders during the busy exhibition.
The ‘CLO100 Breakfast Club’ will take place on Thursday, 30th April 2026, from 08:00 to 10:00 BST at the Novotel London Excel. The session, titled “Moving from Learning to Transformation,” aims to provide a space for senior professionals to move beyond the busy conference floor and engage in strategic dialogue regarding the future of the industry.
As L&D functions face increasing pressure to demonstrate business value, the breakfast will explore the shift from "Learning" to "Transformation" (lT). The discussion will focus on how learning can become an invisible byproduct of well-designed systems, positioning L&D as a business-critical engine of adaptation rather than a mere support service.
Cathy Hoy, CEO and Co-founder of CLO100, who will be co-hosting the morning, commented:
"The role of the L&D leader is evolving at a rapid pace, requiring a move away from traditional platform-first models toward true strategic business alignment. This breakfast is designed to be a place for senior leaders to find common ground, challenge existing legacy metrics, and explore how we can embed learning so deeply into the flow of work that it becomes a core driver of organisational agility."
The event is sponsored by TalentLMS, where Nick Gonios will join the conversation to share his insights on the "Capability Paradox" and the role of agentic AI in modern performance support.
Nick Gonios, VP of Learning Transformation and Company Ambassador at TalentLMS, added:
"At TalentLMS, we believe that great learning technology should be a catalyst for human potential, not just a digital repository. I am looking forward to joining the CLO100 community at Learning Technologies to discuss how we can bridge the gap between learning and real-world transformation, ensuring that L&D teams are equipped to lead their organisations through the next decade of change."
The event is free of charge and open exclusively to senior L&D leaders. Attendees can expect a morning of fresh coffee, pastries, and high-value networking, followed by a structured conversation on moving from courses to core business strategy, before heading into the final day of the main conference.
Registration is required as places are limited. Interested senior leaders can reserve their place via the Official CLO100 Ticketing Site
