Spotlight on eLearning at The Guinness Partnership - 13 June, London
Tamzin Doggart, Organisational Development Advisor at The Guinness Partnership - the national social housing organisation started by the great-great grandson of the founder of the Guinness brewery - will be talking about the benefits of eLearning, when she presents a case study at the Third Sector Social Media Convention on 13 June. She’ll be introduced by Martin Baker, founder and MD of the Charity Learning Consortium - the largest group of charities in the UK which collaborate to make eLearning affordable.
Tamzin Doggart will be explaining how eLearning has saved money while improving knowledge at The Guinness Partnership, when she presents a case study at the Third Sector Social Media Convention on 13 June.
Tamzin is the Organisational Development Advisor at The Guinness Partnership – one of the largest affordable housing and care providers in the country, and a member of The Charity Learning Consortium.
ELearning has been invaluable at The Guinness Partnership, says Tamzin: “ELearning helps us to deliver bite-sized training courses to people who are spread around many offices and cannot be released for short courses. It helps people to fit training around their customers’ needs and the system automatically checks learning through quizzes.”
The Charity Learning Consortium is sponsoring the Convention, an exciting new event at the Mermaid Conference and Events Centre in London on 13 - 14 June.
The Convention aims to give charities the knowledge and confidence they need to put digital communications and social media – including eLearning - to good use within their organisations. Along with The Guinness Partnership, representatives from fellow Consortium members Breast Cancer Care and Macmillan Cancer Support are also taking part.
Martin Baker, MD and founder of the Charity Learning Consortium, will also join a panel at the Convention on 14 June, which will be debating social media.
Tamzin Doggart and The Guinness Partnership recently worked with The Charity Learning Consortium to create a unique induction programme, which members of the Consortium can use as a template to create a bespoke eLearning module for themselves.
