Brighton, UKLearning NewsBrightwave Group

Brightwave, the leading global provider of learning content, products and services, returns to DevLearn – one of the cutting-edge training and learning events in North America – to present a session on DevLearn's Learning Media Studio stage.

Brightwave's attendance follows news of its recent growth and global expansion, which has seen the leading learning provider attract significant flagship projects and new business with some of the world's leading brands and professional development bodies (including MediaCom, Diageo, Coca Cola, M&S, British Airways and The Chartered Institute of Marketing).

Colin Welch, Brightwave's Head of Production and Caroline Freeman, Head of Creative Design present an exciting case study showcasing a recently deployed programme built for a global leader in beverage alcohol using the latest development techniques and thinking in interactive video production and game-based learning. Brightwave's innovative solution uses interactive film, gaming and first person role-play via immersive scenarios designed to accompany face-to-face training and extend reach to a global audience.

Colin is participating in the popular DevLearn DemoFest 2015 – the "premier showcase of eLearning project demonstrations" that runs in parallel to DevLearn – demonstrating how to develop fast paced game-based interactive film, together with flow, decision points, branching and game theory.

The Brightwave team is also leading a Morning Buzz session for delegates of the conference, exploring the 'Essential new skills for L&D excellence'. This open group session provides attendees with the opportunity to kick-start their day by uncovering, through discussion with their peers, the challenges, opportunities and new capabilities required to support effective learning within their organisations.

Caroline said:
