Double win for Brightwave and KPMG at the Brandon Hall Excellence Awards
Next-generation learning expert Brightwave is celebrating the success of its partnership with KPMG International which has picked up two awards in this year's Brandon Hall Excellence Awards.
In partnership with Brightwave, KPMG International has been awarded a silver and bronze award in the Best Custom Content category at this year's Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Learning Awards. Presented by Brandon Hall Group, a leading research firm in training and development, the global award scheme recognises the success of learning programmes, strategies and solutions that have delivered measurable results.
The award-winning solutions were developed by Brightwave with KPMG as part of a wider blended programme to support the global induction for KPMG firms’ audit teams. With rapid timescales for development, Brightwave were selected by KPMG International to work with them and develop the solution in partnership.
Brightwave created a number of virtual environments where learners could, in one module, carry out a simulation of an inventory count, including a virtual tour of a warehouse and an interview with the warehouse manager. In the second module, learners could safely practise documenting activities for a key client process, including reading background information about the client on their website and interviewing various members of the client's organisation.
