Brightwave and Sky to speak at World of Learning

Learning NewsBrightwave Group

Next generation learning expert Brightwave will team up with Sky to deliver a presentation on 'How learning technologies can deliver impressive customer service results' on the first day of this year's World of Learning Conference.

Forming part of a new addition to the 2013 conference agenda, the session  is one of a series of fringe seminars designed to give access to the latest L&D thinking for conference delegates and visitors alike.

Taking part at 1.40pm on Tuesday 1 October, the seminar will be presented by Kenny Henderson, Head of Talent Development Operations at Sky and Charles Gould, Managing Director of Brightwave. Delegates will hear how Sky has used learning technology to engage staff and achieve excellent customer service results through the creation of a truly transformative learning culture.

Brightwave's award-winning partnership with Sky spans over five years and continues to support their strategy to create a technology-based learning culture, with a key aim being to drive customer satisfaction. With the 2012 Towards Maturity Benchmark reporting that 42 per cent of organisations are using learning technologies to support and educate the customer, attendees of this session will hear how Sky have achieved just that.

Charles Gould said: "Increasingly, learning technology is being used as a way to provide better customer service and increase loyalty. Our partnership with Sky has delivered excellent results in this area and we are pleased to be sharing this success story at this year's World of Learning".
