Brightwave to speak at INGO E-Learning Conference

Lars Hyland, director of learning services at Brightwave, e-learning development company of the year, will deliver a keynote speech at the INGO E-Learning Conference 2010 on 17 June. His presentation will focus on how NGO's can make a real impact with e-learning from a design perspective.

Organised by Oxfam and BOND, the INGO E-Learning Conference has been created to help share experiences and hear different approaches to e-learning in the international NGO sector. Keynote speakers from the corporate learning and development sector will present on the 17th, followed by dinner at the Ashmolean Museum. The second day will incorporate small group discussions and presentations.

Speakers on 17 June also include Clive Shepherd (chair of the eLearning Network), Jane Hart (founder, Centre for Learning & Performance Technologies) and Martin Baker (director, Charity Learning Consortium).

Lars Hyland from Brightwave, who is speaking at 1.15pm on 17 June said: “I’m delighted to have been invited to speak at the INGO E-Learning Conference to share some of Brightwave’s knowledge and provide support in developing effective e-learning programmes.

“With increasingly tighter budgets, e-learning provides a highly effective method of delivering training and education to a wide variety of people across wide geographic regions, with real impact… but only if it’s done well!”
