All-in-one learning management system and performance management platform Bridge has released key functionality to deepen its already close relationship with Gomo, the cloud-based content authoring solution. Gomo now gives course designers the ability to publish content straight to their Bridge accounts.

This latest feature simplifies and consolidates the time-consuming process of downloading, locating, uploading, and replacing eLearning courses. With the ability to publish content directly to Bridge LMS, users benefit from the full power of Gomo’s advanced features without needing to engage in the protracted process of handling large SCORM files.

Simon Waldram, Product Manager at Gomo, said: “These new publishing capabilities give users complete and flexible control over their content. Whether they’re publishing a new course or updating an existing version, users always have a firm grasp of where their content is as it moves seamlessly from Gomo’s authoring platform to Bridge’s LMS.

The hard work has already been done behind the scenes in order to make the experience of creating and publishing content a cohesive process. Publishing directly to Bridge is all about offering a unified user journey from initial storyboarding right through to the final stages of publication.”

Once a course has been published, course designers can update or modify that course within Gomo. Any changes they make will be reflected when republished to Bridge. As a result, users can avoid the lengthy process of manually downloading and uploading new versions whenever an update is required.

Established in 2015, Bridge provides a comprehensive suite of L&D solutions to over 1,000 companies, including an LMS, performance management system, engagement software, upskilling solution, and more in a single platform. Its sister company, Gomo, is a cloud-based authoring tool that offers an easy-to-master content creation process combining ease of use with a powerful and engaging selection of features. Gomo is available as a standalone product or as a part of the Bridge suite. Combined, Gomo and Bridge allow users to navigate the content creation and distribution journey from start to finish.
