Bray Leino BroadSkill has been named as one of five finalists in the training company of the year category of the IITT Awards 2009.

The winner will be revealed at The Institute of IT Training’s awards ceremony on Thursday 4th February 2010 at The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London.

Henry Jodrell, managing director of Bray Leino BroadSkill, says: “To have been shortlisted is a huge honour for the team and our success is down to the way our customers share their challenges with us so we can deliver skills development solutions tailored around their specific needs.

“Our commitment to our customers, trainers, staff and community is in our DNA, and to have been shortlisted for this award is a fine reflection of all these partnerships working for the benefit of each other. We look forward to 2010 with enthusiasm and passion and thank our customers for their support in 2009.”

Some of the Bray Leino BroadSkill programmes presented to the judges included internet security awareness accessible on Youtube, scene-based workshops for a major retail group, the largest current IT training project in the UK being delivered for the MOD and a ‘Resolving Issues’ programme for a major government department.

Henry Jodrell adds: “In 2009 we have seen strong growth in the use of digital learning including the delivery of mobile learning, Rapid eLearning(ReL) and Virtual Instructor Led Training (V-ILT). In these economic times we have found our customers are looking for astute programmes that deliver motivational learning closely tied to the business strategy.”

Bray Leino BroadSkill has seen its training business transform following the merger of Bray Leino Learning and BroadSkill in March 2008 into what is today a leading and growing management and communications skills development business.

In late 2008 the business embarked on a programme called ‘Momentum’ designed to develop core values and behaviours required to meet the 2012 Vision. These six core values are helping the company to transform into an award-winning business capable of meeting the fast-changing needs of customers. These transformational values are Brave, Astute, Clear, Caring, Ingenious and Open.
