Bray Leino BroadSkill appointed as supplier by Northern Ireland Assembly

Bray Leino BroadSkill has been selected by The Northern Ireland Assembly Secretariat to supply a fully managed learning and development service.

In order to meet the priorities of the Secretariat's Corporate Plan for 2008/2011, Bray Leino BroadSkill has been commissioned to provide:

• Strategic advice and support to create a learning and development culture within the organisation, and learning and development advice and support to enhance staff performance and enable all staff to identify their knowledge and skills gaps and therefore training needs

• Access to training design, development and delivery services

• Administrative support including the provision of an electronic on-line booking system.

Nigel Walpole, head of Bray Leino BroadSkill's public sector operations, says: "Although Bray Leino BroadSkill is already a major contracted supplier of a wide range of training services to various parts of the public sector, this award represents an important development for us and we are thrilled to be appointed by NIA".

Trevor Reaney, Director General of the Northern Ireland Assembly said: "This new partnership with, Bray Leino BroadSkill will ensure that our staff have the opportunity to access high quality training and development programmes. Our people are our most important asset and ensuring that they have the right skills and training to do the job will allow us to serve the people of Northern Ireland professionally and effectively.
