Npower to reveal how immersive digital learning saves £3 million, in training costs, at Learning Technologies 2018

Npower, together with Assima, will showcase at the Learning Technologies 2018 event how they use immersive digital learning to save £3 million in training costs and deliver better training, faster and more efficiently.

When npower migrated its mission-critical enterprise systems to SAP, a major training challenge ensued: how to train 4,500 people on the new system quickly and efficiently, including key customer-facing teams at the contact centre.

Assima, together with client npower will be presenting at Learning Technologies 2018, Europe’s biggest organisational and technology-supported learning event. Expert Andy Hurren FLPI, Head of Learning at npower will reveal how npower’s learning industry, award-nominated training programme used technology to revolutionise npower’s training approach. This was achieved by providing users with a highly interactive training environment reducing reliance on classroom training events and the associated high- cost system infrastructure.

The seminar will be held on Wednesday 31st January, Theatre 7, at 10.15am. npower will be talking about how they benefited from:

  • Cost savings of £3 million vs. traditional training client
  • New starter on boarding reduced from 33 days to 18 days
  • New training programmes delivered with 80% less staff
  • Enhanced learning experience and accelerated system uptake using blended eLearning
  • Training content updated quickly and easily to reflect changes in the live system
