Alison Innes-Farquhar, Head of People Development and Engagement at HC-One and the 2014 Chief Learning Officer of the Year, is delivering a seminar on blended e-learning and offline strategies at the upcoming CIPD Learning and Development Show, in London on 30 April.

'Implementing blended e-learning and offline strategies for a greater impact' will be co-presented by Tim Drewitt, Head of Learning at Vodafone. The seminar takes place in the Technology and Innovation stream at the CIPD Learning and Development Show on Wednesday 30 April at 9.30am.

It will explore: incorporating e-learning and offline strategies efficiently, implementing new approaches to e-learning and considerations for future development and the advantages of e-learning tools in order to increase staff engagement.

Alison Innes-Farquhar has worked for HC-One since its inception in 2011 and was tasked with transforming the business culture across HC-One homes. HC-One took the innovative step to change the way staff gained confidence and skills to deliver the kindest care to its 10,000 residents through the development of a bespoke learning and development programme called touch.

Working with award-winning partners Acteon Communication and Learning, touch was launched in September 2012, providing everyone who works for HC-One with a bespoke personal learning programme tailored to their role, with the vision and values of the company embedded into each programme.

The CIPD Learning and Development conference has 28 sessions covering OD, coaching, technology, leadership, L&D and more.
