Award-winning Acteon is exhibiting at the World of Learning & Conference Exhibition 2014, and presenting a seminar on using blended learning 'beyond the module'.

Matthew Borg, Managing Partner, is presenting a seminar at the World of Learning Conference & Exhibition on how to use blended learning to take the learner ‘beyond the module’. Using case study examples, Matthew will illustrate how the Acteon Knowledge Centre has enabled businesses to embed change, deliver competent compliance and empower sales teams to deliver outstanding results.

Title: Blended learning - going beyond the module
Venue: World of Learning Conference and Exhibition, NEC Birmingham
Date: Wednesday 1 October 2014, 11.15am - 11.45am.

Many organisations are moving beyond the traditional e-learning module to support learners through preparation, application and follow-up activities as part of the learning journey. This presentation will highlight how a blend of learning resources including videos, mini-movies, hands-on practical assessments, discussions plus physical and virtual classroom sessions alongside responsive e-learning, all delivered from the Knowledge Centre, has helped businesses to embed change within the working environment.

Learners will take away:

  • The benefits of using online/offline learning resources alongside traditional e-learning modules as part of an extended learning experience
  • The importance of a phased approach to learning in the workplace
  • Examples of the learning interventions that can be provided at each stage of the learning journey

Booking for this session is not required, however seating in the theatre may be limited. To avoid disappointment, please arrive early.
