E-learning consultancy Information Transfer is looking for a challenge at Learning Technologies 2009

What do the following businesses have in common: an engineering company, a global manufacturing company, a healthcare nutrition provider, an accountancy firm, a supplier of commercial hygiene services and a multinational pharmaceutical company?

The answer is, they all had a pressing need to convey complex or technical information efficiently to a widely dispersed workforce in a form that can be quickly and easily assimilated. And they all selected Information Transfer to find the solution.

These companies come from diverse industry sectors and provide a range of services but there is a common denominator: they rely on highly skilled staff to remain profitable. For example, the pharmaceutical sales reps needed to understand a new sophisticated drug and the associated therapy area in order to sell in a highly competitive market; the manufacturer had to get staff in their worldwide operating units rapidly up to speed with a new project lifecycle management system to avoid downtime; the accountancy firm relied on keeping 4000 auditors up to speed on technical and professional developments to achieve results. And they could not afford to compromise on accuracy or quality.

For these companies, reducing time-to-competence in an uncertain and insecure economic environment is critical to minimising business risk and driving competitive performance. The stakes are high, and poor performance can mean the difference between surviving a financial downturn, or weathering the storm.

There are many outstanding e-learning and bespoke content developers providing an excellent service, and Information Transfer is one of them. But there are few agencies with the specialist skills to turn a mass of data on a technical, scientific or regulatory subject into accessible and engaging online training.

For this reason, despite the cold winds of economic recession, the climate at Information Transfer has been positively spring-like. Last year saw the broadening of their blue chip client base and a full order book.

Information Transfer is able to rapidly respond to their clients’ unique and challenging requirements, and provide a solution that exactly matches even the most demanding requirement.

Information Transfer will be exhibiting at the Learning Technologies exhibition. They will be on stand 105 and keen to speak to companies about their particular e-learning challenge. They will also be delivering a free seminar from 2.45 – 3.15 on Thursday 29th January, outlining one of their most successful formats for delivering product information online. They are keen to live up to their reputation for being able to “explain anything to anyone”.

“Quality and responsiveness set Information Transfer apart. They transformed complex scientific and clinical data into clear sales training materials for our representatives.”
