Learning NewsWebanywhere Limited

Webanywhere will be presenting several brand new products at this year's Bett and Learning Technologies shows: includes Webanywhere's Compliance Module and 70:20:10 Social Learning Platform.

Learning Technologies is now in its 14th year and as Europe's leading showcase, 2013 promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Boasting more than 120 free seminars and over 230 exhibitors it is definitely the key event for all those involved in workplace learning. Webanywhere is excited to present several new products at Learning Technologies and can be found on stand 122 on both the 29th and 30th January 2013: Learning Technologies floor plan. Conor Gilligan, Head of Workplace Learning at Webanywhere, will also be available at the Bett show (at Excel London) from the 31st January to the 1st February - on stand F280.

Here’s what Webanywhere will be talking about at this year's Learning Technologies and Bett shows...

New Products

Compliance Moodle Module:
Webanywhere has recently launched a new Compliance Module, helping corporates manage compliance for their entire workforce from within a learning management system(LMS). Using Moodle, the world’s most popular open source LMS, there are no license fees which is key for keeping costs low when budgets are constantly being tightened - allowing people to do more with less.

"This module is the perfect line of defence for organisations when preparing for internal and external audits. It helps to remind, keep track of, and record all training that has been completed or that is still outstanding. What’s more, if training needs to be repeated, the compliance module alerts both the manager and learner, so that they are aware that it needs to be completed once more," explains Connor Gilligan.

Knowledge Based Learning Platforms: Quickly access and share knowledge on a sophisticated social media style platform. Create a mobile sharing environment for leadership development, enable subject matter experts to easily author articles, and promote learning and collaboration across businesses.

New Releases

IN View for INDITEX:
Working in partnership with INDITEX, Webanywhere has created a mobile video based platform. This enables employees, from stores such as ZARA, to upload and access video training content whilst on the go, via mobile, laptop, computer or tablet.

This 70:20:10 social learning platform enables INDITEX to make best use of its talent pool and share best practise online, in a cost effective manner. It allows them to capture the 90% of learning which occurs in the workplace (70% on the job, 20% social interaction, with the other 10% from formal classroom training) and share it internally.

British Safety Council Course Content: Working alongside the British Safety Council, Webanywhere helped to create a complete range of health, safety and environmental awareness e-learning courses. This includes courses such as Fire Safety, Health and Safety for Managers, Manual Handling and Stress Management. More details of these courses and online purchase is available at https://elearningstore.britsafe.org/.

Learning Technologies Seminar

Webanywhere is collaborating with Brad Kilshaw, Enterprise Channel Manager at Google Enterprise, to provide an overview of Google Apps for Enterprise. The session will show how Google Apps enables organisations to maximise the benefits of cloud technologies, improving collaboration, information sharing and efficiency. It will also examine how to deliver single sign-on Google integration with Totara LMS, Moodle LMS and other enterprise data sources that can reduce IT hardware/software spend on servers, licences and other infrastructure costs, alongside improving communication and organisation. The seminar takes place in Theatre 5, on Wednesday 30th January 2013 at 13:15.
