Watsonia Publishing, the IT courseware specialist, is announcing the opening of a new UK headquarters in Reigate, Surrey.

Established in Melbourne in 1988, the ECDL-approved company develops high-quality computer training manuals covering most of the popular desktop PC applications and operating systems, and many of the IT education sector’s accreditations.

With an extensive range of outcome-based titles for instructor-led and self-paced learning environments, Watsonia’s courseware products are available in printed manuals for immediate use, on CD-ROM for unlimited reprinting and as eBooks for intranet and helpdesk resources.

Since a highly successful launch at Learning Technologies in London earlier this year, Watsonia has secured courseware contracts with large major corporate and Government organisations, including AstraZeneca, Calor Gas, Ernst & Young, IBM, MoD, Pfizer, Thomsons and TUI.

Watsonia is also announcing the introduction of its renowned ‘EngineRoom’ courseware publishing application into the United Kingdom market. EngineRoom allows instructors to quickly customise and assemble their own course materials – in a matter of seconds.

Operations Director (EMEA) David Kelly commented: “EngineRoom is well-established and guarantees serious time and labour savings. It removes the need for laborious courseware preparation work and all of that tedious cutting-and-pasting, page numbering and layout work”.

“The Watsonia Publishing brand is recognised for delivering high-quality IT courseware at a very reasonable price. After lengthy planning, we are excited to now be bringing the Watsonia Publishing brand to the UK market.”
