Walkgrove and Coaching on Call partner to launch “supported learning” at this year’s Learning Technologies event.

Walkgrove and Coaching on Call have joined hands to offer “supported learning”, a blend of e-learning and virtual coaching.

Kaaren Brook, Director, Coaching on Call, believes that “Bringing together all forms of on-line learning and on-demand telephone coaching makes learning ‘stick’ and gives people the confidence to apply what they learn. The new “blend” of e-learning and coaching combine to deliver more meaningful and effective learning, creating greater value for everyone”.

The two companies presented a seminar outlining their new offer of ‘supported learning’ at this year's Learning Technologies and the slides and video will be available soon on both companies’ websites together with more information on how the solution can be included in learning programmes.

Speaking about the partnership, Sarah Smith, Managing Director, Walkgrove said, ”Together with Coaching on Call, we have designed an off the shelf programme for junior and aspiring managers and team leaders, which combines bite size e-learning modules with on-demand coaching, to support learners through a structured programme of personal development.”

The programme is structured to give the individual a snapshot of the key aspects of what makes an effective manager, providing a solid foundation of key skills and the knowledge to apply these skills into their everyday work and personal environments.
