When organizations lack a streamlined approach to workplace safety training they struggle with effective tracking and recording of training initiatives, and simply have a hard time getting employees to engage with the training.

These challenges affect employee productivity, organizational business objectives, and most importantly, the bottom-line. Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation (Central Hudson) approached Vivid Learning Systems for an effective solution to deploy a consistent compliance training program, one that was both engaging and reinforced the organization’s brand through design elements

The solution was simple, yet incredibly effective. It consisted of online compliance training for all office staff and operations personnel. The results were automated training deployment, one-click reporting and a significant decrease of administrative time spent managing the training.

In addition, Central Hudson needed to increase brand awareness internally and compliance training provided the vehicle to do so by incorporating branding elements throughout the learning courses to further reinforce Central Hudson’s brand.  Central Hudson custom solution includes a custom learning portal, as well as branded course content, which reinforce their brand promise amongst employees.

“Vivid Learning Systems not only has the product Central Hudson needs for training, but the support has been outstanding”, said Amanda Sargent, Safety Director for Central Hudson.
