“This is one of the major events in our calendar,” commented Hannah Brindle, Managing Director of Virtual College.

“It is always exciting to engage with delegates who are interested in exploring evolving approaches to learning technology.

“The learner is at the heart of what we do and we will be showcasing our experience in developing content that drives behaviour change.”

Virtual College will be on stand E6 at the Learning Technologies exhibition.

Delegates are also encouraged to attend a free conference seminar session which will be delivered by Jaison Cresswell, Learning Technology Manager of Virtual College, in collaboration with Greg Ward, Senior Business Solutions Partner from their customer, EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation.

Seminar title: ‘Creating change: a behaviour-based game’

Venue: Learning Technologies Seminar Theatre 2, London Olympia
Date:
Wednesday, 31 January, 2018
Time: 11:00 - 11:30

The seminar will explore how EEF and Virtual College are using their combined expertise to develop a blended learning approach to encourage safe working and behaviours.

The programme addresses behaviour change at all levels from leadership, management and supervisor and for different risk rated roles within the organisation.

Using a range of learning technologies, including video and games based learning as well as face to face training, this programme looks at how L&D is at the centre of an international culture change programme within an organisation.

This case study led presentation will explore:

  • how the client organisation, EEF and Virtual College made the case for change
  • the collaborative training design process
  • the role of different types of training methods
  • why different training methods were chosen
  • how games based learning supports behaviour change

The Learning Technologies exhibition and conference will be held in London’s Olympia on 31st January and 1st February 2018.
