Virtual College shortlisted for two prestigious awards
Virtual College, a leading provider of online courses and learning management software, has been shortlisted in both the Sunday Times Tech Track ‘Ones to Watch’ Rankings and for the ‘Best Online Distance Learning Programme’ in The Learning Technologies Awards 2018.
The Tech Track ‘Ones to Watch’ is made up from a selection of companies that have excelled in their sales performance and growth. It’s part of the Tech Track 100, one of seven annual league tables, showing the UK’s top private companies, published through rankings in The Sunday Times.
Their submission for the Learning Technologies Awards was in partnership with DPG (Developing People Globally). Here they took a Level 5, CIPD accredited Human Resources Manager course fully online, enabling DPG to offer this high quality training more widely via distance learning. The course now has over 580 enrolled learners with an improved first time pass rate and 97% of learners recommending it to others. Finalists were selected from over 400 entries by an independent judging panel of experts organised by the eLearning Network.
Both awards are recognition of the success Virtual College is enjoying as a business. “We work tirelessly to create relevant, value added, online training for a variety of different organisations in various markets, allowing them to offer a comprehensive training solution,” said Hannah Brindle, Managing Director of Virtual College. “It is a compliment indeed to get included in a short list from such prestigious bodies.”
