Ideal for teaching, support and ancillary staff, these training packages are already being used by large and small academies catering for all age groups throughout the UK.

Academies can create the exact packages they need by mixing and matching course licences to fill any training gaps. Created with input from subject matter experts from within the education sector, Virtual College’s engaging online resources can provide a flexible and economical solution for induction and compliance training.

Popular online courses include:

  • Safeguarding Children in Education
  • Radicalisation and Prevent Duty
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene for Catering
  • Fire Safety

Virtual College’s online learning management system, Enable, records all course allocations, completions and results, allowing learner progress tracking and measurement of training effectiveness.

Local policies, procedures and internal documents can be also uploaded alongside training, while a simple and easy reporting system provides rapid access to evidence of compliance for internal and external requirements, such as Ofsted.

For larger academy groups, Virtual College has created an online audit tool designed to simplify audits and make the process quicker and easier to manage, administer and report on.

Enable Audit from Virtual College is cloud-based so can be accessed anywhere. It facilitates easy collection of records from a large number of academy sites who can submit records, evidence and action points which are recorded instantly in the centralised audit tool.

Detailed and comparative reports can then be generated at the click of a button so that progress and areas for improvement can be easily identified.

Clear, concise and self-explanatory, it aims to minimise the stress involved in audits by enabling online access for regular updates throughout the year.

Virtual College will also be supporting its partner, the National Governance Association, at the Academies Show. The National Governance Association will be promoting their new suite of e-learning modules, developed by Virtual College for new school governors, trustees and clerks.

The modules will be accessed via Enable, Virtual College’s cloud-based learning management system, branded for the National Governors’ Association.

Virtual College will be on stand 744 the Academies Show which is being held at ExCel, London on 26th April.
