Virtual College creates fun resources for National Cupcake Week

Online learning provider, Virtual College, one of the major providers of food hygiene training in the UK, is joining in the fun of National Cupcake Week (18-24 September) by offering cupcake connoisseurs a number of tasty online treats to help them get creative in the kitchen.

 

Cupcake fans can download Virtual College’s infographic on the ‘history of the cupcake’, find out 8 interesting facts about cupcakes and test their knowledge by taking a rapid-fire cupcake quiz (https://www.virtual-college.co.uk/resources/food-hygiene/national-cupcake-week).

Virtual College is also teaming up with ‘The 60 Second Chef’, Patrick Drake, to harness his cookery knowledge and skills with their online learning expertise.

Patrick is a presenter on Discovery, National Geographic and Fox, and the head chef of the world’s largest recipe box service, HelloFresh. His mission is to make cooking and great food accessible to everyone. Patrick came across Virtual College some years ago, when he completed his first online certificated food hygiene course with them.

Virtual College is partnering with ‘The 60 Second Chef’ using their complementary skills and expertise to create a series of bite-sized certificated courses which can be accessed online. These will be launched soon to help people with a busy lifestyle cook healthy, tasty and nutritious recipes.
