Amit Gautam on Mobile Learning: ‘Honorable Mention’ in eLearning Learning MVP Awards

Director of UpsideLMS, Amit Gautam, is the proud recipient of an ‘Honorable Mention’ in the 2018 eLearning Learning MVP Awards under the New & Emerging Technologies category for his innovative article, titled ‘Smart Everything, Everywhere, and Smarter Learning’.

Corporate eLearning insights provider, eLearning Learning (www.elearninglearning.com), recently organized their 2018 eLearning Learning MVP Awards to recognize and celebrate the ‘Most Valuable Posts’ from amidst the best content created by industry experts the world over. While the awards were organized in categories that included Company Culture, eLearning Tools, New & Emerging Technologies, Engaging Learners, Innovation in eLearning amongst others, it was the ‘New & Emerging Technologies’ category that saw Amit Gautam’s article ‘Smart Everything, Everywhere, and Smarter Learning’ being awarded the ‘Honorable Mention’.

The Judging Criteria for the awards included a series of evaluations by the eLearning Industry readers, the appointed judging committee comprising Clark Quinn, Executive Director - Quinnovation, Megan Torrance, CEO and Founder - TorranceLearning, Cara North, Learning Experience Designer - The Ohio State University College of Education and Human Ecology and Ryan Tracey,  Design Lead - Transport for NSW, along with some insights from machine intelligence and social media, with the final recognition being awarded to the posts that provided the highest value to industry professionals.

The 2018 eLearning Learning MVP Awards page states that – ‘Every day, our articles are read by an audience of over 83,000 people on our site and newsletter. We use our machine intelligence and social media, bolstered by our editorial team, to curate this content. We're judging posts that we see to provide the highest value to industry professionals. Does your article include useful and actionable information? Is it tactical or strategic? Does it provide short- or long-term value? Those are the types of questions our judges will be asking themselves.’  

The awarded article by Amit was published on Learning Solutions Magazine (www.learningsolutionsmag.com) on 28th June 2018 and highlights the imperativeness of emerging smart technologies and their impact on (smart) learning. An excerpt from the article reads, ‘Smarter learning is not just about the technology, but about the way it is utilized to enhance the process of learning. Speaking about the honorable mention his article has received, Amit said, “I have always believed in giving back to the industry that has given me so much.
