Helping L&D Leaders Make an Impact at the 2016 Learning Technologies Summer Forum

London, UKLearning NewsTowards Maturity

Towards Maturity will be focusing on how L&D professionals can modernise their L&D strategy at the 2016 Learning Technologies Summer Forum.

Global research and benchmarking organisation Towards Maturity will be providing delegates with a range of resources that can help them make an impact in their organisations.

The Towards Maturity team will be on hand at stand 27 to discuss the importance of benchmarking, what it can do for delegates and help them benchmark their learning strategy at the show. It’s free and confidential, so make sure you drop by.

The summer forum also coincides with the release of the latest Towards Maturity In-Focus report, called Making an Impact: How L&D Leaders Can Demonstrate Value, sponsored by LEO. Towards Maturity’s CEO and Founder, Laura Overton, will be presenting key insights from the report and giving practical tips on the activities of top performing L&D teams during two unmissable sessions.

The first session, in Theatre 2 at 2:15pm, is titled, 9 tips for getting your L&D strategy in tip top condition! Overton is also set to facilitate a highly interactive conference session at 3:00pm in T2S3, looking at what to do and avoid when:

  • Starting a new conversation with business leaders
  • Challenging assumptions
  • Securing commitment
  • Using evidence to pack a punch
  • Communicating success

Commenting on the event, Towards Maturity CEO and Founder, Laura Overton, said:

"We are now a few months into our #MakeItHappen campaign and our benchmark is open, which is why our focus at the Summer Forum is on action and impact. Most L&D professionals know what changes they need to make in order to modernise their learning strategies – our aim is to provide the practical tips to help them make it happen."

A number of Towards Maturity Ambassadors will also be at the event and able to explain why benchmarking is a central part of developing a modernised learning strategy. They are:

  • City & Guilds Kineo - 30
