SAI Global and Towards Maturity Partner for 2015 Benchmark Study on Compliance and Ethics Training

London, UKLearning NewsTowards Maturity

SAI Global, the global leader in award-winning ethics and compliance training, is sponsoring the launch of the 2015 independent benchmark study, exploring methodologies and practices for improving the impact of compliance training.

The study has been produced in collaboration with Towards Maturity, a not-for-profit benchmarking organization committed to sharing and promoting great practices in the use of learning technologies.  The results of the study will be shared through a new report to be issued in September 2015.

All those responsible for compliance and ethics training and awareness programs in the workplace are invited to benchmark against their peers via an online survey.  The final report aims to examine the various methods and media used by businesses for ethics and compliance training, and will investigate the drivers, barriers, benefits and trends in the use of learning technologies.  The survey is open until 31st May 2015 and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.  In addition to receiving the new report later in the year, all participants will be able to immediately download a resource pack that provides insight into the actions of the top performers in our previous compliance training benchmark studies.

Laura Overton, Managing Director at Towards Maturity said,

"Our 2013 Compliance training benchmark with SAI Global report revealed that compliance is often one of the first topics that businesses ‘e-enable’, so it’s vitally important that that they get it right first time. The report also highlighted that 98% of businesses realize that technology enabled training can help manage their organizational risks but only 44% are actually realizing these benefits.  Teaming up with SAI Global again for the new study allows us to explore this gap and will provide an opportunity for compliance and L&D professionals to compare their approaches with other organizations in order to improve performance and where necessary, build an effective business case."

Colin Campbell, Senior Vice President Market Development at SAI Global Compliance said,

"We know from previous Towards Maturity benchmarking studies and from our own extensive experience of implementing effective compliance training programs that expectations of compliance training are evolving.  Businesses expect programs to deliver measurable benefits over and above a ‘tick in the regulatory box’ – but success in realizing these benefits is extremely varied.  The aim of this study is to gain insights into what is already working well for businesses, where there is room for improvement, and what are the most effective practices for improving the impact of compliance and ethics training programs."
