The Learning Network is excited to announce that Michelle Parry-Slater and Steve Wheeler will be the keynote speakers at Connect 2023. This year’s theme is "Building the Future of Learning and Development," and these distinguished speakers are perfectly suited to address this vital topic.

Michelle Parry-Slater, an award-winning workplace learning innovator, author of The Learning and Development Handbook, and a Fellow of the CIPD and the RSA, will bring her extensive experience to the stage. As the head of Kairos Modern Learning, a boutique consultancy specializing in impactful people development, Michelle is on a career mission to drive a cultural shift away from traditional 'Injection Education' towards more effective, efficient, enjoyable and engaging everyday learning. Michelle's strategic insights have had a broad impact across various sectors, including international retail, government departments, and universities. Her ideas are regularly shared via her podcast, Learning From The Edges, and through her active social media presence.

Joining Michelle is Steve Wheeler, a learning technology expert with more than 45 years of experience in the field. Steve was a pioneer in computer-based training, distance education, and the use of social media for learning. His influential blog 'Learning with 'e’s' has attracted over 9 million unique visitors in the last decade. As a former associate professor of learning technologies at Plymouth University and now the CEO of Steve Wheeler Associates Limited, Steve has shared his expertise worldwide through his keynote speeches and publications. His most recent book, Digital Learning in Organizations, continues to shape the conversation on the role of technology in learning and development.

Connect 2023 offers a unique opportunity for learning and development professionals to engage with these leaders in the field, discuss the future of learning and development, and be part of building that future. More speakers and debates will be announced in the coming months, adding to an already compelling line-up.

The Learning Network is now offering early bird tickets to non-members, and more information about the conference, including the full agenda and registration details, is available on the Learning Network's website. Join us at Connect 2023 to be part of the future of learning and development.
