Managers Wait Ten Years for Leadership Training

LONDONLearning NewsThe Ken Blanchard Companies

The average age of a manager when they first receive leadership training is 42, yet they become a manager, on average, aged 33. Meanwhile, less than ten percent of employees under the age of 30 are provided the opportunity to participate in leadership development.

These shocking facts are being addressed by the Ken Blanchard Companies with the launch of a new cloud-based Leadership programme – Blanchard Certified - which can be downloaded to a mobile phone or tablet so leaders can develop new skills on the go.

“More people have mobile telephones around the world than have access to a flush toilet, according to the United Nations, so mobile leading is definitely the way forward” says Jim O’Brien, MD for the Ken Blanchard Companies EMEA. “Blanchard Certified delivers the same powerful and practical leadership training content we are famous for, training that is immediately applicable on the job, just within a self-paced e-learning environment. Learners will be able to take key concepts from their personal online classroom and immediately apply them to both personal and organisational goals.”

“Blanchard Certified makes our phenomenal Blanchard content accessible, affordable, relevant and fun! So don’t wait for 10 years, access our leadership expertise now. It’s right at your fingertips.”
