The benefits of benchmarking your eLearning journey
Laura Overton, Towards Maturity MD, says benchmarking is an invaluable tool that will help shape future workshops held by The Corporate eLearning Consortium, to ensure they meet members’ needs. Laura will also explain how benchmarking can be used as a powerful means of improving performance, when she presents at the inaugural meeting of the Consortium on 28 March, London.
The most successful businesses are twice as likely to benchmark their learning technologies journeys as other organisations. These more successful businesses recognise the benefit of benchmarking, and use it as a tool to improve their overall performance, according to Towards Maturity research*.
Laura Overton, the MD of Towards Maturity, will be talking about the benefits to business of benchmarking your eLearning and learning technologies journeys, when she presents at the inaugural meeting of The Corporate eLearning Consortium. The meeting is being held on 28 March, London.
Laura will also explain how benchmarking will be used to help shape future Consortium workshops – to ensure they meet members’ needs.
“It’s never made greater business sense to work collectively towards improvement,” said Laura. “Through benchmarking and sharing of best practice, organisations of all types can learn so much from one another. And, of course, benchmarking is also a great means to ensure that the Consortium’s future workshops are really hitting the mark.”
Martin Baker, the founder and MD of The Corporate eLearning Consortium, will also be presenting at the meeting, outlining his vision for the exciting new venture. “As an organisation we are very much ‘by the members, for the members’ and benchmarking will be invaluable in helping us shape future meetings,” he said.
The Corporate eLearning Consortium is a membership organisation, offering the unique opportunity for organisations to access a wide range of eLearning, whilst networking and collaborating with others with similar goals – sharing resources, ideas and best practice on the road to eLearning success.
“Sharing best practice in the use of eLearning can save valuable time and money, and learning from the challenges that others have faced can make the difference between success and failure,” said Martin. “In a nutshell, sharing knowledge in this way makes prefect business sense.”
The event takes place in central London on 28 March, from 9am to 1pm. Organisations interested in finding out more about the benefits of joining the Consortium can book their place online.
