Sponge publishes Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Insights Report following Learning Technologies 2022

Plymouth, UKLearning NewsSponge

The first of five industry specific reports exploring emerging trends in workplace learning, the report boasts three key insights for L&D practitioners within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.

COVID-19 affected all industries through supply chain issues, changing working patterns, and the acceleration of digital transformation. However, out of all the core business sectors, none have a more complicated relationship with the pandemic as the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.

The continuing threat of COVID-19 and other ‘business as usual’ challenges, mean that pharma still faces significant obstacles that need to be overcome.

Having grown throughout the 2010s and boomed during the pandemic, the market forecast looks good, as pharma responds to ageing populations, complex health challenges, and enters new markets. How will the industry adapt to technological change? How will it upskill its workers? And how will it use data to aid both personalisation and compliance?

Answering these questions, Sponge's insights directly tackle issues of hard and soft-skill upskilling, the uses of data to benefit employees and patients, and much more. These are investigated in a 15-page insight report covering:

  • An analysis of the top 3 L&D priorities for pharma & healthcare.
  • Key considerations when addressing these priority areas.
  • How to set your digital learning up for success.

Sponge's pharma and healthcare report is the first of five industry specific reports to be published throughout June and July. It will be followed by subsequent reports on the retail, manufacturing and automotive, tech, and financial and professional services sectors.

Building on an excellent Learning Technologies, where Sponge was officially recognised as one of the top 3 most engaging exhibitors, these reports represent Sponge's determination to showcase their cross-sector expertise in the L&D space.
