A new and updated, mobile-ready Seminar Knowledge Centre 5, incorporating enhanced support for blended learning, compliance reporting, social learning, video content and more, will be launched at WOLCE in Birmingham on 1-2 October.

Seminar Knowledge Centre 5 is a web-based learning management system that offers true blended learning functionality and is used and relied upon by world-leading organisations such as Daiichi Sankyo and London Fire Brigade. The Seminar Knowledge Centre lets you deliver your e-learning content and supporting resources, manage your learners, report on their progress and gather post-course feedback no matter where they are.

"In Seminar Knowledge Centre 5, we have strived to build our best learning management system to date," explained managing partner, Matthew Borg.  "The goal of the Knowledge Centre is to help organisations be as agile and flexible as they can be and allow learning and development to keep pace with ever-changing business needs.

"Version 5 now enables customers to mix face-to-face or virtual classroom sessions with e-learning and supporting resources to create a truly blended learning experience. And it's 'mobile ready' for delivering rich and responsive learning experiences to learners wherever they are, and via whichever type of device they are using - PCs, tablets or smartphones," added Borg.

Other new features in Seminar Knowledge Centre 5 include: instantly log informal learning activities such as websites, documents and videos viewed, via each learner's Learning Log; capture and report on learners' responses to reflective learning activities; share experiences and learner-generated content via social media tools such as Yammer; deliver media resources such as video seamlessly and efficiently to large, geographically distributed audiences.

Pharmaceuticals business Daiichi Sankyo uses Seminar Knowledge Centre: the project was a finalist in the 'E-learning Project of the Year' category of the Elearning Awards in 2012.

A video case study about how Daiichi Sankyo is using Seminar Knowledge Centre is available online.

The Seminar E-learning System and its developers, Acteon, will be on stand C170 during the upcoming WOLCE exhibition and conference (Birmingham NEC, 1-2 October).
