The influential SIIA (Software and Information Industry Association) conferred the prestigious "Best New Education Solution" award on Sanako's Virtual Classroom solution at the 19th Annual CODIE Awards in May 2004 in San Francisco. Over 600 companies took part, a record number, including other leading software companies such as Adobe, Macromedia, IBM, Google and Symantec. Central to Sanako's portfolio of live learning solutions, the virtual classroom utilises the internet and VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology to facilitate live training sessions with participants in different geographical locations, and was developed in conjunction with California State University. High quality live voice interaction is complemented by a range of collaboration tools including six break-out groups, web presentations, document sharing, polling and interactive boards, all of which offer the trainer opportunities for a number of varied learning interventions. Throughout Learning Technologies 2005, Sanako will be giving demonstrations of the virtual classroom, in many cases with international participants.

In addition Sanako will also be showing its' innovative Application & Activity Control software for networked Training Rooms, Study 100. Designed to allow the tutor to initially prepare and deliver content and applications for trainees, it then allows the trainer to monitor and guide participants through any particular activity. Utilising the TCP/IP network platform, Study 100 is an extremely cost effective suite of collaboration, messaging and monitoring tools for the IT training room in order to facilitate the management and support of learner activities
