How do you handle conflict in the workplace?

LondonLearning NewsRADA in Business

Interactive training from RADA in Business enables people to build powerful business relationships through rapport building and conflict management.

Without a doubt conflict occurs in all human relationships. If handled badly, it can harm important connections we may have spent years building and developing, and at its worst it can have a detrimental effect on our job, our reputation and even on our emotional and physical well-being.

When conflict is handled well, we can build bridges, solve problems and create strong bonds of trust and respect between each other.

RADA in Business aims to address the challenge of handling conflict in the workplace and how we can build greater rapport next week with a free seminar at the Learning and Skills Exhibition. RADA in Business' seminar Communicating through Conflict led by tutor Lisa Akesson takes place 3.15pm Wednesday 30th January, Theatre 8.

Developing our personal presence and examining the physicality of communication, through the body, breath and voice, helps us to create greater rapport and deal effectively with difficult situations in the workplace.   Think Breathe Speak is the essence of successful communication and underpins all the communication skills work RADA in Business undertakes.

"THINK - Every communication begins with thought: who are you speaking to and what message do you need to convey? The thought then triggers the breath."

"BREATHE - The way you breathe affects both your physical and vocal presence and provides the power behind your speech."

"SPEAK - When your body is centred and you are using your voice to full effect, you are able to inspire and influence your audience."

Our interactive seminar Communicating through Conflict will show the audience some elements of successful communication, examine how to develop rapport building skills and consider how to handle conflict situations if they arise.
