QA wins Best Training Provider for the ContractorUK Readers’ Awards 2013
IT contractors nominate QA as Best Training Provider
29th January 2014: QA won the 2013 ContractorUK Readers’ award for Best Training Provider in the United Kingdom. The ContractorUK Readers’ award is in its seventh year, although this is the first year for the Best Training Provider category.
The awards recognise and commemorate excellence and personality in IT contracting, and are the only awards decided by IT contractors across the UK. ContractorUK saw a record number of voters this year, which reflects the growth in IT contractor demand over the past year. Nominees were not listed for this category and the selection process solely demonstrated the voters’ acknowledgement and recognition of training providers.
Executive Director of Training at QA, Jeff Barnes, expressed his excitement about the recent win. “It’s an honour for QA to be recognised by IT contractors across the UK as their preferred IT training provider,” Barnes said. “We aim to provide topical, useful content to ensure our delegates can return to work with a more valuable skill-set in IT, and the fact that contractors are able to do this and know QA can help is truly gratifying.”
Laura Foster from ContractorUK said, “The response from contractors this year was overwhelming; ContractorUK received thousands of votes direct from IT contractors. Congratulations to all the team at QA IT training for supporting contractors skill requirements throughout 2013.”
