QA offers Certified Ethical Hacker as EC-Council Authorised Training Provider
QA is launching a new and updated range of security training including the Certified Ethical Hacker certification, authorised by EC-Council.
This internationally recognised security certification is a prestigious addition to QA’s security training, which ranges from an introduction to information security through to hands-on, deep-dive workshops, security design and best practice all the way to the premier certification offered through EC-Council. QA will be offering EC-Council programmes, including Certified Security Analyst, Certified Secure Programmer and Network Security Administrator.
Principal Technologist for Security at QA, Andy Hills, explains; “We’re delighted to be able to offer the Certified Ethical Hacker qualification as it plays such an important part in building professional standards. IT security is already critically important to many businesses in the UK – and it should be central to every organisation’s IT policy. We want to make sure that people have the right skills, whether they’re taking the first steps towards understanding security or specifying and designing secure networks. EC-Council courses are vendor-neutral, and provide a really interactive environment, so it’s a great opportunity for people to learn new skills that can be immediately applied on their return to the workplace.”
Sean Lim, EC-Council Vice President at EC-Council adds, “We believe that providing access to training for people who are keen to enhance their skills is an important part of the work we do as an organisation. Our range of courses and certification help to raise awareness of the security issues facing businesses and individuals and we’re sure that companies working with QA will benefit from these new skills.”
QA’s security training courses also include a range of vendor-certified courses including Microsoft’s Fundamentals of Network Security and CompTIA Security+. Security training courses are available around the UK from the company’s network of 27 training centres.
