QA-IQ launches exciting new programme at HRD: Courses lead to University accreditation
QA-IQ, the UK’s leading learning company, will be launching an exciting new partnership for degree-level accreditation of its ‘Art of People’ management and personal development courses at this year’s HRD event.
Launching the programme that provides the opportunity to gain a management degree from the leading work based learning university, QA-IQ’s experts will be on hand to take attendees through how they will gain long term career benefit from accreditation. The full portfolio of ‘Art of People’ courses will also be showcased, including new courses such as the ‘Beat Stress and Take Control’ and ‘Equality and Diversity’ as well as popular existing courses such as ‘Interview and Hire the Right People, ‘Coaching for Performance’ and the ‘Art of Influence’.
Visitors will be able to get a taste of the innovative development techniques used on QA-IQ’s courses, by testing the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI) used to identify personal strengths and how individuals relate to others. There will also be the chance to talk to QA-IQ’s Leadership and Organisational Development experts about the programmes available to manage change and grow individuals within companies.
Head of the Management and Personal Development Practice at QA-IQ, Liz Timoney-White, explains; "There are some really exciting opportunities for people looking to recognise the investment they have made in developing their personal skills. For the first time at HRD they will be able to find out how these can contribute towards a recognised degree-level qualification accredited by a UK university. Not only will our courses provide the skills needed to deal with the challenges of today’s workplace, but they will also build towards a long term development goal.
"Tools such as the Strength Deployment Inventory are a really valuable way of taking a step back and looking at the areas in which you can change and develop your behaviour to reach your goals. On our courses we give people the opportunity to work through the specific challenges they face, while providing a toolbox of approaches they can apply when they return to the workplace. People leave feeling that they can take a new approach – with renewed confidence in their ability to change and make the most of opportunities."
Visitors to the HRD show will be able to find out more about QA-IQ’s new partnership and complete their own SDI exercises. Experts will be available to talk through QA-IQ’s portfolio of Management and Personal Development courses.
