QA-IQ Group has today announced that its offer to acquire Xpertise Group PLC has been declared wholly unconditional. As two of the leading companies in the delivery of training to technology departments, the combination of the strengths, experience and knowledge of the organisations will provide significant benefit for existing customers and new opportunities for future development.

The creation of QA-Xpertise will provide access to the breadth and depth of curriculum and services that organisations need to support and enhance their business performance. All customers will have immediate access to the full portfolio from both organisations, including a wide range of technical, end user, professional best practice and management & personal development skills, as well as an improved service for tailored requirements.

CEO of QA-Xpertise, William Macpherson, comments; "The coming together of our two organisations will not only provide our customers with improvements in the services currently supplied, but also offers us the opportunity to expand our offering and develop innovative new services. Our priority during the merger of our organisations is to quickly realise these benefits for our customers, while ensuring that their experience with us continues to meet our high standards. The integration of the companies will allow us to swiftly build on the already strong calibre of our people and the quality of our services."

Former CEO of Xpertise, Ian Johnson, adds; "QA-Xpertise customers will have access to a wider geographic reach, greater resources and a wider schedule to support their learning requirements. We intend to ensure that we are taking forward the best processes from the two organisations in order to drive immediate improvements."

Starting today the company will begin the planned integration of the service offerings and operations of QA-IQ and Xpertise to ensure a smooth transition of business. The management team of QA-Xpertise is comprised of senior members from both organisations thus ensuring continuity of service and minimum disruption to existing relationships.

Xpertise will be delisted from trading on AIM shortly and will become a privately owned company within the QA-IQ group.
