Microsoft’s Learning Partner Advisory Council provides feedback from partners on the company’s strategy for its learning products and services. 12 partner representatives sit on the Council and they meet regularly in the United States to work closely with Microsoft. Xpertise’s Bill Walker will represent the UK for the next three years, the standard term for serving on the panel.

Walker is thrilled with the new role. “As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions, Xpertise has an extremely positive relationship with Microsoft already,” said Walker. “But to work as part of this Council with some of the best training experts in the world and influencing global learning strategy for Microsoft’s training programmes, is a real honour.”

Xpertise has been selected three times as Microsoft’s Gold Learning Partner of the Year for Europe, the Middle East and Africa – and has also supported several of the company’s partner readiness programmes, helping to train Microsoft’s partner community on new products.

The role doesn’t affect Walker’s normal duties with Xpertise, says Walker. “If anything, it means that we will be able to add even more value to our customers – taking their views and needs directly to Microsoft itself.”

Walker takes up his role on Microsoft’s Learning Partner Advisory Council immediately.
