Be the first to gain new ITIL qualification with QA-IQ: ITIL v3 Awareness and Foundation courses launched
Be amongst the first to gain an IT Service Management Foundation qualification based upon the new version 3 of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), with brand-new courses from QA-IQ. Running from the first week of June, the Foundation course will prepare delegates for the first available exams based on the new syllabus.
Delivered at QA-IQ’s premier training centres across the UK, the course is designed and developed by QA-IQ’s own expert instructors, all of whom are experienced IT Service Managers.
Jeff Payne, Head of QA-IQ’s Service Management Practice, explains; "Although the current version of ITIL is now widely accepted, it has not seen any major change since 2002. The world of IT is highly dynamic and in order to deserve its 'Best Practice' credibility ITIL needs to reflect this. The scope of the library has been widened to cover more aspects of Service Management and for the first time adopts a unified Lifecycle approach to the subject, helping the Business, IT managers and staff to understand their subject ‘from cradle to grave’. Importantly, ITIL v3 will also have a greater focus on understanding business drivers and how IT can assist with meeting business objectives.
