Learning NewsQA

For an unprecedented third time, Xpertise has been selected as Microsoft's Certified Learning Solutions Partner winner for the United Kingdom for its innovation and professionalism in Sales and Marketing.

Xpertise won this award for the EMEA region last year and also in 2002. The awards ceremony was held at Microsoft's worldwide partner event, which took place on 12th July 2006 in Boston, USA.

Ian Johnson, Xpertise's managing director, believes that this award demonstrates the company's leadership position, both nationally and internationally. Says Johnson: "To win this award once is a real honour. To win it twice is a rarity. To win it three times is quite simply extraordinary."

For this year's award, Microsoft singled out Xpertise's innovation in launching a brand new training solution - Time-Lapse Learning. Time-Lapse Learning organises classroom training into single days, scheduled over a number of weeks - making training far easier to plan and manage. Time-Lapse Learning also combines classroom training, self-paced learning, on-line assessment and on-line support, significantly increasing the effectiveness of the learning.

Kim Rubbo, Microsoft's partner development manager for training and certification, commented: "Xpertise has continually demonstrated commitment, quality and innovation in providing Microsoft training solutions. This award highlights those qualities - bringing to market an innovative and flexible way to learn, based on customer feedback."

"Innovation is one of Xpertise's key strengths," said Johnson. "Our expertise training organisations in innovative solutions is, we believe, unmatched. We listen to our customers in order to create ground-breaking learning programmes which provide greater flexible and power. To be recognised for this innovation, in a top industry award, is a terrific endorsement of our capabilities."
